South Indian actor Dileep granted bail in actress assault case
Malayalam actor Dileep, accused of masterminding the assault of an actress, has been granted conditional bail by a Kerala High Court on Tuesday.
The court had rejected his bail plea twice earlier after the prosecution argued he might destroy crucial evidence.
It ordered the actor to pay a bond of Rs 1 lakh, surrender his passport and, appear before the investigation office whenever required.
In February this year, a popular actress was kidnapped and molested by a gang of six men.
