'Three Billboards', 'Big Little Lies' dominate Golden Globes

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri dominated the 75th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, picking up four awards, including the best drama. 

It won acting honours for Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell, and a screenplay win for its writer-director, Martin McDonagh.

Another woman-centric tale Lady Bird was named best musical or comedy while nabbing best actress honours for Saoirse Ronan. 

On the television front, The Handmaid’s Tale and drama Big Little Lies won the top honours.

The Handmaid’s Tale beat out Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Crown and This is Us to win best TV drama and best actress, while HBO’s Big Little Lies walked away with the best limited series/TV movie category. Its stars Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern won for their performance.
