Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s much-awaited action thriller Race 3 has put Abu Dhabi in the spotlight.

Directed by Remo D’Souza the movie was filmed at nine locations in the emirate across 23 days in March and April.

It included a crew of more than 200 people, including 150 professionals from India working alongside local talent from the UAE.

“We are proud to see Abu Dhabi appearing on the big screen in yet another major international production,” said Maryam Eid AlMheiri, CEO of Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi and twofour54.

The trailer, which was released on YouTube on Tuesday night, has garnered over 9 million views.
