Bruno Mars sweeps the Grammys, wins top album and song
R&B artist Bruno Mars won the top prize at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, picking the coveted album of the year award for his energetic 24K Magic.
He won all six Grammys he was nominated for, including song of the year for his hit single That’s What I Like, and record of the year for 24K Magic.
Kendrick Lamar was another big winner, taking home five Grammys for best rap album, music video, rap song, rap performance and rap/sung performance.
Jay-Z, however, won none of his eight nominations.
On the red carpet at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, dozens of musicians wore or held white roses to show their support for women’s equality and freedom from sexual harassment.
