Dubai International Film Festival to return in 2019
The organisers of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) have announced that the event would now be held every two years, with the next edition scheduled for 2019.
They said the move is part of a new strategy to support the growth and evolution of the film and content industries in the region.
Since its launch in 2004, DIFF has steadily grown into a leading film fest, championing Arab cinema and also showcasing movies from around the world.
DIFF organising committee announced the adoption of a new strategy that will further boost the event's status as one of the world's leading film festivals. DIFF will be hosted biannually, and preparations are on for its 15th edition to be held in 2019. #Dubai pic.twitter.com/VCg6jf8fiV
