Nicole Scherzinger: Singing helps me to communicate
Nicole Scherzinger feels singing allows her to “communicate and connect” with other people. The 29-year-old beauty – who became an international star during her time in The Pussycat Dolls – has revealed she considers herself to be a “gifted” singer, and that she uses her talent to express herself. She shared: “The thing I love more than anything is singing. I feel like that’s what I’m really gifted at.
“I feel I have a purpose when I sing and that’s how I communicate and connect with people best. I can express my heart and my soul through that.” During her solo career, Nicole has worked with an impressive variety of performers, including the likes of 50 Cent and Andrea Bocelli. But the American star’s real passion is performing on the stage. She told HELLO! magazine: “I’ve sung with everyone from Andrea Bocelli to Slash, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent – I love to sing all different styles. “But whether I’m doing world tours or performing at the Hollywood Bowl or on TV, for me there is nothing quite like the magic of the stage.”
Despite having a jam-packed working schedule, Nicole always tries to make room for fun in her diary. The singer likes to take care of her body with a healthy diet and regular exercise, but she also thinks it’s just as vital to make sure she “feels good” about herself by letting her hair down.
